of Southwark
in the Country of Surrey on the
third day of January
in the thirty fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George
George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King
Defender of the faith and so forth before

and Country aforesaid who
being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the
King when how and in what manner the said

came to her death say
upon their oath that the said

not being of sound mind memory
and understanding but lunatic and distracted on the third day of January in the
year aforesaid one end of a certain peice of Cord Value unto and about a certain
Iron Curtain rod of a certain bedstead in a certain room belonging to the dwelling
house of one

situate in the parish aforesaid within the borough
aforesaid
in the County aforesaid and the other end of the said piece of Cord round and about her own
neck did then and there fix tie and fasten by means whereof she the said

then and there hang strangle and suffocate herself of which said hanging strangling
and suffocation she the said

did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid
upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said

memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted did hang and kill herself In Witness
whereof as well the said Coroner as the said
