maketh oath that about ½ past 6 on Wednesday Evening
last Dept being a work on fresh Wharf

in the
Parish of Saint Botolph without Billingsgate
heard the watch
man on the Wharf say there was a Man over board Dept
and some other persons went on board a lighter then lying
alongside the said Wharf and saw a Man in the water between
the Knighter
and a Wart India Ship which lay about the Lighter
that one of the persons having got a Brathook
looked the deced
but the byhis Coat but the coat giving every he sunk under
the water that upon his coming up again the said person
hooked the deced again by his coat that got himinto theon
a scale Board and then on the Wharf that he was quite
Death
