Long Lane in the Borough of Southwark maketh Oath
that Dept. has been employed or different times for
these six Weeks part at Mr Cooks the last Witness
during which time Dept. has known the deced that
Dept was employed with the deced on Monday last
in cleaning Mr. Cooks House previous to her the deced
leaving it that about ½ past seven in the Evening the
deced being in the Kitchen and just going to Tea Mr Cook
called to the deced & sayed he was waiting for her the
deced left the Kitchen & was gone about 20 Minutes
when she returned & went to the Pantry from whence
she took something which she hid under her [..]
that she appeared very pale and much flurried that
in about 3 quarters of an [..] Hour Mr. Cook came into
the Kitchen & desired Dept. to go up Stairs he was afraid
the deced was in a fit Dept. went up & on looking thro
the Key hole of the two pair of Stairs front Room Dept.
saw the deced lying on the Floor & Blood about her
Dept. went after a Surgeon who soon after [..] came that Dept went
up soon after and attended on the deced that while Dept
was in the Room she saw a black handled Care Knife
lying on the Carpal Bloody the deced died in about an
Hour after that she was insensible from the time of first
finding her in the that before describers
