parish of Saint John within the Town
and Borough of Southwark the 28th. day of
March 1794 on view of the body of
a man unknown there lying dead

maker maketh oath that yesterday Dept was told a
stronned person lay on the Shore of the Thames, & that afterward
Dept and others went & found the deced lying upon the there
Says he appeared to have been drowned, & to ham [..] um in the
water several days
