London-Deposition of a witness taken at London that
is to say, at the parish of Saint Bridget otherwise
Bride in the Ward of Farringdon with out in
London aforesaid on the 22nd. day of February
1794 on view of the Body of John Kettle< no role > now
here lying Dead

Cornelius Rose< no role > a Prisoner for Debt in His Majestys Prison
the Fleet maketh Oath that he hath known the deced Joshe
Kettle about six Months-about three Weeks since Dept. hung
a Cot up in Depts. Room for the deced to sleep in-that the deced
had been ill some time before that the deced complained of the
Govt in his Stomach-that he spit and Coughed very much
that for these last three Weeks he got much Worse and sometimes
kept to his Cot for two Days to gether-Dept. saw the deced
yesterday about Eleven OClock in the Sick Room where the deced
had been moved to on Thursday afternoon last-that the deced
was then in Bed looked very ill but sensible that the deceds
Home keeper and his Brothers Wife were in the Room
Dept. took hold of the Deceds Hand the deced complained of
a pain in his Stomach and appeared to be in a dying state
dept. left him and about One OClock Dept. event to the deceds
Room and found him Dead that the same person were then
in the Room
