An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to say at the parish of Saint
Michael Queenhithe in the Ward of Queenhithe in London aforesaid on the second day of September in the thirty
third year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland
King defender of the faith and so forth before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King
for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of Anthony New< no role > now here lying dead
by the Oath of Thomas Wilson< no role > Henry Palmer< no role > William Brown< no role > Zebedee Parker Thomas Tale Richard
Hopwood Henry Broomes William Jurors George Bourne< no role > Robert Day< no role > John Smith< no role > and William Loveday< no role > good
and lawful men of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire
for our sd above the King when how and in what manner the saidAnthonyNew on the thirty fourth day of August
in the year afsd accidentally casually and by misfortune fell into the River Thame and in and with the waters of the
said River was then and there suffocated drowned of which said suffocation and drowing he the said Anthony
New did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath afsd do say that the said Anthony New< no role >
in manner and by the means aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune was suffocated and drowned.
In Witness whereof as well the Coroner as the said Thomas Wilson< no role > tje Foreman of the said Jurors all
himself and thereof his fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their hand & seals the day year & place
first above written.
