Depositions of Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Saint Mary
Abchurch in the Ward of Walbrook in
London aforesaid this 6th. day of August
1793 on view of the Body of a Woman unknown
now here lying Dead.

Margaret Gardner< no role > Spinster a Servant to Mr. George
Gale of the Cock and Bottle Cannon Street in the parish
of Saint Mary Abchurch Victualler maketh Oath that
the deced [..] who appeared to be an aged Woman
came into Dept. Masters Yesterday afternoon about three o Clock and asked Dept. [..] to
Candlego to the Privy-the privy being under Ground
Dept. and in a dark placeand viewerlighted a Candle and showed the deced
to the Stairs that the deced went down One or two-Stairs
and then took the Candle out of Dept. hand thanking
Dept. and saying she could find the wayDept. returned
to the Kitchen and before Dept. had scarce turned
herself round the heard something fallDept. went
[..] to the top of theStairsleading to the privy the privy [..] being dark Dept. light [..] a Matchthat
[..] and looked down not seeing the deced went
down the Stairs and found the deced lying upon her
back as the bottom of the Stairs her Legs by in up
to wards the Stairs her Eyes appeared starting from her Head and she
appeared to Dept. to be Dead as receiveDept.
thinks from her appearance she had falllen into a fit
that she was taken up Stairsthat a Mr. Atkinson< no role >
who had been sent for came and bled the deced
that she never moved afterwards and in about ten
Minuets appeared quite deadand thethat soon
after she was removed to the Church where she now
lays dead that [..] when Dept. found the deced there
was appearance of blood on the back part of her head
