Depositions taken this Eighth day
of July one thousand seven hundred
and suriety three at the Workhouse of
the Parish of Saint Olave Southwark
situate in the said Parish on View
of the Body of John Tubb< no role > then
and there lying dead.

Joseph Dymock< no role > of No 26 Griffiths Reut in the Parish of
Saint John Honley down Watchman saith that on Friday Night
last about Eleven o'Clock she was at Pickle Hoving Stairs
and saw the deceased John Tubb< no role > who was about Eleven
Years of Age and whom Informant well knew in
a Whery belonging to Thomas Morley< no role > Men lying at
Pickle Herring< no role > Stairs -les [..] Deponent held the
deceased to go home which he refused and said he
had paid a piece of timber which was floating and
he and Thomas Morley< no role > the younger who wasBoatin the Boat
with him Shaved the Boat of Coat in order as he
belives to pick up the piece of Timber - Matin
about Two Minutes informant heard Morley call
out that the deceased had fell over board, and was
under the Tier of Ships lying near the said Boat
Deponent saith that the said Thomas Morley< no role > the
younger then drought the Boat on share. [..]
