Southwark Deposition of a Witness taken at the Parish
of Saint George within the Borough of Southwark
in the County of Surrey this 6th. day of July 1793
on view of the Body of Mary Wright< no role > now
here lying Dead

Mary Restall< no role > a Prisoner in the House of Correction
called Bridewell in the parish of Saint George within the
Borough of Southwark maketh oath that she hath known
the deced Mary Wright< no role > between three and four Weeks
that she was also a Prisoner in the said prison-that [..] about
the hour of One this Morning the deced who slept in the same
Ward with Dept. called for [..] a fellow Prisoner who slept by
her (the deced) but the Woman who slept with the deced
not answering Dept. went to the deced the deced asked for
some Water-Dept. handed it towards her but she could not
take and appeared to be in a fit and found and for that
at the Month that Dept. took the deced in he Arms the deced
struggled a little and sayed she was seized with Death
that she continued in Depts. Arms about ten Minutes
when she prayed to God to bless her fellow Prisoner and
in about ten Minutes after she departed this Life.
