Southwark


Deposition of a Witnesses taken [..] within
the Borough of Southwark in the County
of Surrey that is to say at the Parish of
Saint George within the Borough aforesaid
in the County aforesaid this 8th. day of
February 1793 on view of the body of
James Dickenson< no role > now here lying
dead

John Long< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's Prisoner
the Bridewell situate in the Parish of Saint George
within the Borough of Southwark maketh Oath
that he hath known the deced James Dickenson< no role > about
a fortnight that he was also a Prisoner in the said
Prison-that he hath been ill the whole of that
time-that the deced has been ill with a Fever
from Saturday last until his Death that the
deced continued very ill with the fever until
Wednesday Evening last when he departed this
Life-that the deced was attended by the Surgeon
aforesaid Prison during his illness and Dept
has no doubt the Fever occasioned the deceds
Death.
