London Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of Saint
Bartholomew the less in the Ward of Farringdon
without in London on view of the body of Richard
Roe there Lying dead 14 Decr. 1792.

William Wetherell< no role > of No.3 the Berdasters Square Great Street
Yeoman maketh oath that last Tuesday eve about 6 - 11 instant
Dept. heard Mr. Roe the mother of the deced cry out for left; that Dept.
& an sd. person Mr. Sayres ran to Mr. Roe's apartment & found the room
full of smoke & the deced a Child about three years of age standing in the
middle of the room with his Cloaths in Fire. That the stripped off the
Cloaths and extinguished the Flames, & the Child seemed extremely must
turned - Assistance was procured & the Child taken care of the Child was
afterwards taken to the Hospital where as dept. has been informed it died
the next day.
