Informations of Witnesses taken at
the parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Bride
in the ward of Farringdon without in
London aforesaid on the 12th day of May
1792 on view of the Body of John Connell< no role >
now here lying dead.

Matthew Haygarth< no role > a Prisoner for Debt is His Majesty< no role > 's
Prison the Fleet maketh Oath that he hath known the
deced John Connell< no role > about a year part that he was
also a prisoner in the said Prison-that about ten
OClock last Night Dept. carried a pint of Porter to the
deceds Room in the Coffee Room Gallery-that Dept.
put the Beer and stool in the Room-that the deced
was sitting in a Chair between the Bed and the fire
Place-that he appeared in very good Health and got
up to score the Beer which Dept. brought him-that
no person was in the Room with the deced-Dept. shut
the Room Door and left the deced in the Room
Dept. saw the deced Yesterday in the Bear (a place
in the prison yard where the prisoners walk in) that
he then appeared in very good Healththat a little
after ten this Morning Dept. went to the deceds
Room for his Pots (Dept. attending the Tap) that he
knocked at the Door and then opened it that he went
into the deceds Room that the deced over sitting in a
Chair and appeared to be a Sleep-Dept. halloed to
the deced for his Pot that he received no answer-upon
which Dept. looked more particularly at the deced.
and thought the deced appeared as if dead and Dept.
also looked at the Bed which appeared not to have
been lain in Dept. immediately went to Mr. Lloyd< no role >
who keeps the Tap & Coffee Room of the Prison and
acquainted him of his finding the deced as before Rated
that Mr Lloyd immediaely returned with Dept. to
the deceds Roomthat Mr. Lloyd and Dept. were present in the Room [..] some persons
examined the deced and discovered that the deced
was dead.
