maketh Oath that
he hath known the deced about three Monthsthat he was servant
to Mr. Baker
of Smithfield
Horse dealer who has Stables at
the back of the Grey houndthat the deced was drinking at
the Grey hound with different people from seven O'Clock last
Night until about ½ past ninethat the deced then left
the Grey hound and returned about ½ past ten and went
through the House
into the Yard behind the Grey hound
to the Stables of Mr. Baker as Dept. believesthat the Gate
of the Yard was shutthat this MorningDeptabout seven
O'Clock Dept heard the deced was dead and about ten O'Clock Dept saw
the deced brought down the Yard of the Grey hound dead
that at the time the deced went through the Greyhound
last Night as before stated he appeared to be intoxicated
with Liquor and staggered a little.

this morning about five O'Clock on Dept. coming from his
Apartments over the Stables of Mr. Baker up the Grey hound
Yard he discovered the deced whom he has known about
a Year and three Weeks lying on the Pavement near a
Ladder placed against an stay Loftbelongsover the stables
of Mr. Baker in the Grey hound Yardthat he was quite
dead and some Blood appeared to have come from his Mouth
and Nose
