London Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Dunstan in the west in the
ward of Farringdon without in London afore
said on the 15th. day of April 1791 on view
of the Body of Thomas Smith< no role > Mendham
now here lying deced

Rachael Wife< no role > of Thomas Mendham< no role > of No. 112 Fetter
Lane London< no role > Gentleman and other to the deced maketh
Oath that on Tuesdaybut was three Weeksthe 29th. day of
March last about three OClock in the afternoon the deced a
little boy about two years of Age was playing with come
Old books at a Window of a front Room up one pair of Stairs
in said House - that the deced having let a Book fall on order of
Window was reaching out as to but by some means over
reached himself and fell out of the Window into the Street
upon Pavementthat Dept. was at the fire place at the
time and on seeing the Child reaching out of the Window
she went as fact as the could to him to present this falling
Cathering very much frightened was not time enough to
and the Child from falling that soon after the Child was
brought into the house by a Man - Dept. examined the
Guilds head and found is has reced come injury in the
back part of its head - but she did not observe any blood
the surgeon was sent for who came that the Child
continued very ill in consey and once of the fall untill the 11th.
instant when he departed this Life-and Dept. has no doubt
to injury the Child received by the fall occasioned its
death.
