Southwark

An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the parish of Saint
John within the Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey on the Nineteenth day of
April in the thirty first Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the
Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the first &
before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London
and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of a certain Man whose name is unknown
new here lying dead by the Oath of Richard Warren< no role > Richard Gypson< no role > John Cheron John
Mills John Yell Monicas Harrison< no role > William Turner< no role > John White< no role > Thomas Hains< no role > William
part Camb< no role > - Charles Strand< no role > & John Illman good and lawful Men of the said Borough of
Southwark who being nowchosenhere duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for
[..] and Lord the thing when how and in what manner the said man whose name
is unknown came to his death say upon their Oath that the said Man those Name
is unknown did then lately before accidentally casually and by Misfortune fall into
the River Thomas and in and with the Water of the said River was suffocated and
Drowned of which said Suffocation and Drowning the said Man whose Name is unknown
did then lately before die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do
say that the said Man whose Name is unknown in manner and by the Means
aforesaid accidentally casually and by Misfortune was suffocated and Drowned
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Richard Warren< no role > the
foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and she last of his fellows have hereunto
set their Hands and Seals the day Year and place above written
