herself by a Piece of Cord tied
to an Iron Nail fored to a
Beam in the Garrett

An Inquon Ct. taken Ct. at £.(ie) at the psh
of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the Ward of
Portsoken in London afd. on the 18 day of April
in the 31st Year Etc before Etc on view of the body
of Elizth. Ansel< no role > now here lying dead by the
Oath of Etc who being Etc say upon their Oath
that the Sr. Eliz. Ansel< no role > not being of sound Mind &
but Lunatic Etc on the 15 day of April in the31st Ap
Year afd. one end of a certain piece of Cord of no val
unto and about a certain Iron Nail fixed in the
Beam [..] in the Garrett of a certain house there
situate and the other end of the said Piece of
Cord round and about her own Neck then and
there did fix tye and fasten by means whof
she the sd. Eliz. Ansel< no role > did then & there hang
strange and suffocate himself of wch sd
hanging strangling and suffocon she the
