An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the parish of Saint
Thomas within the Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey on the Eleventh day of November in
thirty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great Britain
France and Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth Before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman
Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of
Elizabeth Morris< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath of John Overy< no role > , James Sadd< no role > , William Bridger< no role > , John
Johnson, John Savoy< no role > , Jeremiah Holliday< no role > , William Mackie< no role > , William Comfort, Thomas Day< no role > , William
Warham
< no role > , John Lee< no role > , John Andrews< no role > , John Clark< no role > , John [..] Andrews< no role > , Benjamin Crouch< no role > and Thomas
Buckmaster good and lawful men of the Borough aforesaid in the County aforesaid who being now here
duly chosen sworn and charged to Inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the
said Elizabeth Morris< no role > came to her death say upon their Oath that the said Elizabeth Morris< no role > on the fifth
day of November in the Year aforesaid being in a certain Room on the second floor in the dwelling house of
John Williams< no role > there situate and being near unto the window there It so happened that the said
Elizabeth Morris< no role > accidentally casually and by misfortune fell from and out of the said Windows into the
Street and to and against the Stone pavement there by means whereof the said Elizabeth Morris< no role > did
then and there Receive divers Mortal Wounds and Fractures in and upon the head and other parts of
the Body of her the said Elizabeth Morris< no role > of which said Mortal Wounds and Fractures she the said
Elizabeth Morris< no role > did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said
Elizabeth Morris< no role > in manner and by the means aforesaid casually and by misfortune was accidentally
killed In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said John Overy< no role > the Foreman of the said
Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set
their hands and Seals the day year and place first above written.
