London Depositions of Witnesses taken at London, that is
to say at the Parish of Christ church in the Ward of
Farringdon within in London aforesaid the 12th: day of
May 1790 on view of the Body of James Peppin< no role > then
and there lying Dead.

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Goal of Newgate maketh
Oath that he hath known the deceased James Peppin< no role > between two and three
Monthsthat he was also a Prisoner in the said Goal-that he hath
been in the Sick Ward where Deponent attends since the 5th: day of April
last very ill with a Feverthat heattended with a decline that he
continued very ill until Yesterday Morning when he departed this
Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Goal and
Dept. has no doubt the aforesaid disorders occasioned the deceaseds
death
