Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 11th day of February 1790 on
view of the Body of William Jones< no role > then and
there lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced William Jones< no role >
about a Monththat he was also a Prisoner in the said
Gaol that the deced was taken ill about three Weeks since with a fever
and was in the Sick Ward where Dept. attends for that disorder but
getting better in about a Week after he quitted the Sick Ward. that
deced howing a relapse of the aforesaid disorder he came into the Sick
Ward again on Tuesday last where continued to get worse with the
aforesaid disorder until about eight OClock last Night when he
departed this Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the
said Gaol and Dept. has no doubt the fever occasioned his Death
