Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Christ Church in
the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 2nd. day of January 1790 on view
of the Body of Richard Prior< no role > then and there
lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced Richard Prior< no role > between
six and Seven Months that he was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol that
he hath been in the Sick Ward where Deponent attends between
four and five Months very ill in a decline or Consumption
that the continued to get worse daily and continued very ill
until Yesterday Morning when he departed this Life
that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and
Deponent believes the aforesaid disorder occasioned his
Death
