London Information of Witness taken at
the parish of Allhallows Barking in
the Ward of Tower London the 12 November
1789 on view of the body of Ambrose
Reeves there lying dead

John Brown< no role > of Cable Street Well Close Square labourer
maketh oath that about 10 o'Clock last [..] Tuesday
morning Dept being standing on Galley Quay in the parish
& Ward abovemd. he saw Mr. Geo. Smith< no role > a Lighterman
pulling the deced from under a lighter that lay a pound
off the Quay with a Boat HookDept unmed. went down
to the body and afterward's bro's it to Mr. Jackins in
Seething lane where it now liesSays the deced was
quire dead, and appeared to have been drowned; that he had
all his Cloaths on but his hal and no marks of violence
were on him.
