Depositions of Witnesses taken at London,
that is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in
London aforesaid the 27th. day of October
1789 on view of the Body of James Williams< no role >
then and there lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath Known the deced James Williams< no role >
about three or four Months that he was also a Prisoner in
the said Gaol that he hath been in the Sick Ward where Dept.
attends this Fortnight pastvery ill with a Fever
that he continued very ill until Yesterday Afternoon (the
26th. Inst.) when he departed this Life that he was attended
by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept. believes the aforesaid
disorder to have been the came of his Death. [..]
