Informations of Witnesses taken at the Parish
of Christ Church in the ward of Farringdon within
in London the 9th. day of December 1788 on
view of the Body of John Davis< no role > then and there
lying Dead

William Wright< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate maketh Oath and saith he hath known the deced
John Davies< no role > for this nine Monthspast that he was
also a Prisoner in the said Gaol that he hath been in the
sick Ward where Dept: attends for this Month past very
ill with on Dept believes the survey that he was all
over [..] -that he continued very ill until last Night
when he departed this Life that he was attended by the
Surgeon of the said Gaol that he believes the aforesaid
disorder attended with old Age was the cause of his
death.
