LondonInformations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Bartholomew the less in
the Ward of Farringdon without in London on
the 25th. day of July 1788 on view of the body
of William Tedmun< no role > there lying dead.

Ann Morris< no role > of Hughes Court Water lane Black friars No.
maketh oath that last monday afternoon the 21st. instant as dept
was sitting selling pail in Bridge Street near the Bridge the heard
a scream & looking saw the deced lying down in the Highway, and
a Carl down by one horse with a man in it just beyond the boy
which as Dept believes had passed ever the deced Says the Carl then
went on quicker than before & the driver of it went away with it
That the deced was put in a shutter and carried to the Hospital

William Roberts< no role > dresser to Mr. Pitt of Bartholomews Hospital
Surgeon maketh oath that on last monday afternoon the deceased
was brot to the said Hospital; that Dept examined him but could not
perceive any external marks of violence on himthat Dept ordered
him what he conceived was proper that he died on Tuesday morning
that Dept afterwards opened the deced & found his liver was very much
lacerated what Dept has no doubt occasioned his death, & that such
injury might have happened from a Wheel passing over the body [..] of
the deced.
