An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London, that is to say, at the Parish of Saint
Margaret New Fish Street in the Ward of [..] in London aforesaid on the ninth day of July in the twenty eighth year of the reign
our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth

Thomas Craddock< no role > now here lying dead by the oath of James Balaam< no role > , George Rossetter< no role > , Joseph Saltons< no role > William Garland< no role > , John Spilsbury< no role >
Thomas Cole< no role > , John Reynolds< no role > , James Files< no role > , Robert Huxley< no role > , Charles Piercy< no role > , Edward Richardson< no role > , William Chaplin< no role > , John Gillett< no role > and Henry
Barnford good< no role > and lawful men of the City of London who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when
[..] and in what manner the said Thomas Craddock< no role > wine to his death say upon their oath that the said Thomas Craddock< no role > on the seventh day of July
[..] aforesaid [..] a certain Building situate and being in the [..] and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid
called the Monument and not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted did then and there violently and forcibly
cast and throw himself from and off the said Building called the Monument into a certain open place there situate called the Monument Yard and to and
against the Stone pavement there Giving to himself then and there by such casting and throwing himself from and off the said Building called the
Monument into the said open place called the Monument yard several mortal wounds and bruises in and upon the head face back sides arms legs and thighs of [..]
said Thomas Craddock< no role > of which said mortal wounds and bruises he the said Thomas Craddock< no role > did then and there instantly die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid [..]
[..] the said Thomas Craddock< no role > not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted in manner and [..] the means aforesaid did kill himself In Witness
[..] as well the said Corarir as the said James Balaam< no role > the Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their
hands and seals to the dayand years and place first above written.
