The Comon Councell by their 3 last Acts for raising 3 Workehouse rates
Did Appoint the Parish of St: D: B to pay £70: for each rate The said.
Parish having for many Year's before these 3 Acts and to this very time
having caused but about £120: a Year to their Poore as by their Poores
rate will Appeare of which £120: they never Collected but about: 110:
The Parish thinking that they should be discharged of these Rates
of £70 each if they made a Rate the Comple at ½ of their Poores rate which
they did
The making these 3 Rates as aforesaid has brought the Parish
about 30 or £40: in Arrear to the Worke house
The Alderman Deputy and Comon Councellmen of this Parish
are willing to make a Re Assessment or rate if they may by Law or otherwise
Warrant it (The Parish in Vestry having given their Consent there to)

Whether the Parish can or are obliged by Law or Equity to pay the
aforesaid Arrears
