Whereas Complaint hat been made unto Os two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof (Quorum unus) by You the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Sepulchers
London That Jane
Hopper is
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaining any
Legal Settlement there and his likely to become chargeable
thereto unless tunely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto As by the Oath of
the said Jane Hopper That about three years age
she Lived as a yearly lived Servant with Mr. Mercer
of the Space of One Year and upwards at the Wages of
five Pounds a year in the said Parish of Saint Dionis Back

And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto As 2 De the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Jane Hopper
to be in the said Parish of Saint Dionis Backchirch
LondonAnd that thitherto she ough by Land
to be sent
These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Enquire You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Sepulchers
London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said Jane
Hopper
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
Saint Dionis Backchurch London
And her deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for her according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this 16th. day of March
