Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Dionis Backchurch London
Respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
nuns) by You the Churchwarden and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Sepulchres
London, That Robert Greacing< no role > and Mary< no role > his wife
are Lately come to be said in
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge
able there to by reason of Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch as
it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Robt. Greening< no role >
that about twenty five years age the said Robt.
Greening Served two years part of his apprenticeship
with John Jones< no role > in the said Parish of St. Dionis
Backchurch London Hosier & hath not
obtained any subsequent Settlement. We the said Justices
are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Robt. Greening< no role > & Margt.
his wife
to be in the said Parish of St. Dionis Backchruch
London
and that thirterto they ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to re-
quire you remove and convey the said Robt. Greening< no role >
& Margaret< no role > his wife
from and out of your said Parish of St. Sepulchres
London, to the said Paris
of St. Dionis back Church London and them leave with
the Church wardens & Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Hereof fail
not, and this shall be your Warrent. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 13th. Day of January Anno
Domini 172 7
