To the Churchwardens and other the Overseers of the poor
of the parish of Raine in the said County

Whereas upon the Complaint of you the Sd. Overseers of the poor
made unto us two of his Majtice. Justices of the Peace of the said
County whose names and hereunto subscribed (Quor nuns) that
Thomas Norwood< no role > lately came into your Parish of Raine and there
endeavoured to setle contrary to law and not producing a Certified
to shewe his last law full settlement nor being able to give securitie
to ger [..] your said Parish from such charge as may happen
by reason of his residence there if not tymely removed and upon
the due examinacon of the sd. Thomas Norwood< no role > taken upon Oath
before us The truth whereof we do believe and adjudge the pleane
of his last law full Setlement to be in the parish of St. Dionis Back:
Church London as an Apprentice with John Chappman< no role > of the said
Parish Shoemaker these are therefore in his Majtice. Name to
Will and require you the sd. Overseers of the poor of the sd. Parish
of Raine to remove and convey the sd. Thomas Norwood< no role > his
Wife and two Children from your sd. parish of Raine unto the Parish
of St. Dionis Back-Church London aforesaid and there deliver
thereto the Churchwardens or other that Overseers of the poor
thereof or some and of them with at me Coppie of his our Order
who are hereby required to receive and provide for the said Thomas
Norwood his wife and two Children as Inhabitants of the Parish of
St. Dionis Back Church London Given under our hand and Seales
the 6 day of December Anns Doum. 1714 .
