The condicon of this obligacon is such. That whereas the above named John
Bennett and John Hall< no role > Churchwardens for the time being of ye Pishchurch
of St: Dionys Back church London have the day of the date above written paid unto
the above bound Thomas Greeneland< no role > the sume of six powndes of lawfull money
of England for which moneys the said Thomas Greeneland< no role > hath agreed to
discharge the said Parish of St. Dionys Backchurch and the said Churchwardens
and their successors and the parishoners of the said Pish at all times
hereafter of and from the keeping and maintenance of Thomas Partridge< no role > the
Sonne of Thomas Partridge< no role > decd late a Pishoner of the said Parish of St. Dionys
Backchurch The receipt of which said sume of Six powndes upon the termes
aforesaid the said Thomas Greeneland< no role > doth hereby acknowledge And whereas
the above bound John exman hath voluntarily offered to bee engaged on the behalfe
of the said Thomas Greeneland< no role > that the said Churchwardens and their Successors
and the said Parish and parishoners of St: Dionys Backchurch shall bee by the
said Thomas Greeneland< no role > or by him the said John Exman< no role > discharged of the
maintenance of the said Thomas Partridge< no role > at all times hereafter of therefore
the said Thomas Greeneland< no role > and John Exman< no role > or either of them their or
either of their executors or admstrators or any of them at their either or any
of their owne proper costs and charges doe and shall from time to time and
at all times hereafter acquite and discharge or otherwise well & sufficiently
save and keepe harmeles the said John Bennett< no role > and John Hall< no role > and
either of them and all others that shall bee Churchwardens of the parish
of St: Dionys Backchurch and all other the present and future Inhabitants of the
same Parish of for touching and concerneing the keeping and maintenance
of the said Thomas Partrige< no role > the Sonne And of and from all manner of costs
charges and expences whatsoever which shall or may in any manner or wife
at any time or times hereafter arise happen [..] or bee impased upon the
said Churchwardens or their successors and the Inhabitants of the said
Pish or any of them for or towards the keepeing and maintenance of the
said Thomas Partridge< no role > the Sonne And of and from all accons suites charges
troubles impeachments and demands whatsoever touching or concerneing
the same That then this obligacon to bee void; or els it to stand and
remaine in full force and vertue.
