Mr. Church Warden Galabin acquainted the Gentlemen
present that a Resolution having been made at a late
Wardmote to appoint the Senior Inhabitants in the
Ward at large to the Offices of Constable and Inquest Man
he submitted to this Meeting whether there should be
any nomination of Inhabitants within these precincts
to those offices contrary to the said Resolution, but it
appeared to be the Sense of the Gentleman present, that
until the same mode was adopted throughout the City
of London , the antient Custom should be adhered to
and thereupon Mr. William Jennings< no role > and Mr. Mathew< no role >
Poole were severally put in nomination and ordered to be
returned for Constables and Inquest Men for the year
ensuing

Mr. William Thwaites< no role > was past over for one year
on account of Non Residence.

Common
Council-men

Mr. John Wm. Galabin and Mr. John Dod< no role > were
ordered to be returned for Common Council Men.

Collectors of
Consolidated Rates

Mr. Mathew Gibbs< no role > was nominated for Collector
of the Consolidated Rates for the year ensuing.

The Meeting was then adjourned until another
