The Gentlemen afterwards proceeded to take into
Consideration the Fines for the Office of Church Wardens of this
Parish and after mature Deliberation came to the following
Resolutions.

The Fine for Church Wardens
raised from £15. to £18

Resolved That the Fine for the Office of Church Wardens of this Parish
shall be raised from £15 to £18 for the future

Such Parishioners as are
willing to Fine within a
Fortnight shall be Exempted
on paying only £15

Resolved That such of the Parishioners who willing to Fine
for the said Office of Church Warden before this Day fortnight shall
be Exempted from Serving the said Office on paying only the present
Fine of £15

Auditors appointed to
Auditt Mr. James Anderton< no role > 's
Account.

Ordered that Mr. James Hebert< no role > , Mr. John Clarke< no role > , Mr. James Spackman< no role > ,
Mr. John Cheslyn< no role > , Mr. Richard Tirrell< no role > , Mr. Richard West< no role > (Hosier )
and Mr. Samuel Gilly or any Five or Three of them be appointed
Auditors to Auditt the Account of Mr. James Anderton< no role > the Same
to be Audited in one Month.

At a Vestry held on Wednesday the 5th: Day of May. 1742.

This Vestry was Called at the Request of Several
Gentlemen of this Parish who desired to Fine for Parish
Offices.

Ordered that an Order of Vestry made the 22d: April
last past (whereby It was resolved among other things
that such Persons who were willing to Fine for the Office
of Church Warden before that Day fortnight should be
Exempted from Serving the said Office on paying the old
Fine of £13. only) be now read, And the same was read
accordingly
