Continued and Brought over ye 16 October 1711

Freedoms of theCompanyCitty [..] of this Company
of Redemption. And pursuant to that Agreement
they were Admitted into ye. Freedome of this Compa.
and accordingly paid ye. usuall Fees.

And this day attended on ye. Lord Mayor and
Court of Aldermen to have their admissions into
the Freedome of the Citty and of this Company as
aforesaid, But there was Objection made thereto
by Colo. Peirce of ye. Custome house who Farms.
the Alniaye Duly of ye. Citty and Declard it
would be two or three hundred Pounds P Amnd
to his prejudice, and that he should not be able
to hold his Lease and pay his Rent for the
Same, If they were admitted. Whereupon Councell
was heard on both sides, And a Debate arising
thereupon amongst ye. Court of Aldermen, The
Gentn. aforemenconed were Ordered to withdraw,
and being calld in again, The Court Acquainted
them that they would not then admitt them
into ye. Freedome of ye. Citty, for the Reasons
aforesaid.
