Memorandum It is this Second day of March 1747 Agreed
Between the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters London of the One
part and Margaret Rogers< no role > of the Parish of Saint Brides Als Bridgett
London Spinster of the other part the said Company doth hereby
agree to lett to the said Margaret Rogers< no role > All that their Messuage
or Tenement No. 6 Scituate in Carpenters Buildings and late in the
Possession of Dorothy Woodworth< no role > at the yearly Rent of
Seventeen pounds payable Quarterly To hold the same
for one year and an half certain from Lady day next eusueing
the date hereof and shall then be at liberty to quitt the same if the
said Margaret Rogers thinks proper And the said Margaret
Rogers does hereby agree to take the said premisses [..] upon the
Terms above menconed & will pay the Rent of Seventeen pounds
Accordingly as Witness her hand the day and year Above Written.

Whereas an Arguement a rose between Mr. Poole Clerk to the said
Carpenters Company and Myself at the time the above named Magaret
Rogers Signed the above agreement whether said Margaret Rogers< no role >
was to pay Seventeen or Eighteen pounds P Ann Rent for the
above premisses Myself insisting [..] I had for the said Margaret
Rogers agreed to pay the said Company but Seventeen pounds P Ann
Rent and said Poole Insisting I was to pay Eighteen pounds P Ann Rent
Therefore Notwithstanding the said Agreement is Signed by the said
Margaret Rogers< no role > to pay but for Seventeen pounds P Ann Rent for said premes
I do hereby promise and agree that [..] the said Margaret Rogers shall
pay Eighteen pounds P Ann so long as She holdes the said premisses
provided a Majority of the Persons present at the Carpenters Court at
letting the same [..] shall say said premisses was agreed to be lett at
Eighteen pounds P Ann Rent Witness hand this Second day of
March 1747.
