Court Day June 2d. Continued

Memdum it is this 2d day of June 1747 Agreed between the Worshipfull
Company of Carpenters London and Thomas Bartholomew< no role > of Church street in the
Parish of St. Matthew Bednal Green Dyer in manner following Vizt
The Company Agrees to let the said Thomas Bartholomew< no role > all that Messuage
or Tenement Situate in Hogg Lane by Norton Halgate known by the
Sign of the White Hart now in the Possession of [..] Joseph Whitaker< no role > at the
yearly Rent of £12.10.0 payable Quarterly to Commence from Midsummer
1747 for one whole Year to Midsummer 1748, and in case the said Thomas
Bartholomew
< no role > shall be minded to Quit the said Premes at Midsummer 1748
he shall be obliged to give six months Notice of Warning in writing to the
said Company or their Clerk from that time, and the said Thomas
Bartholomew Agrees to take the said premisses upon the Terms
above mentioned and now paid Mr Warden Mason one Shilling
in part of the first Quarters Rent Witness his hand the day and

Mr. Whittaker now desired leave at his own Expence to build a
Wash house in the yard & that he might have leave to take the
same away when he leaves the House which was now
agreed to accordingly

Memdum it is this 2d day of June 1747 Agreed between the Worshipfull
Company of Carpenters London and [..] Joseph Whitaker< no role > of Hog Lane in the
Parish of Shoreditch Blacksmith in manner following Vizt. The Company agrees
to let the said [..] Joseph Whitaker< no role > all that Messuage or Tenement Scituate
in Hogg Lane now in the posson of David Edwards< no role > at the yearly rent
of £13 payable Quarterly to Commence from Midsummer 1747 for
One whole year to Midsummer 1748 And in Case the said Joseph Whitaker< no role >
shall be minded to Quit the said Premisses at Midsummer 1748 he shall
be obliged to give Six Months Notice of warning in writing to the said
Company or their Clerks from that times, And the said [..] Joseph Whitaker< no role >
agrees to take she said Premisses upon the Terms above mentioned &
now paid Mr Warden Mason One Shilling in part of the first Quarters
Rent Witness his hand the day & year above written Jos Whitaker< no role >
