Court day continued January the 2d. 1727

£6 to Mr. Hooker

Ordered That the Renter Warden do give Mr. Hooker Six
Pounds as a gift and pay the Poors Rates for the Clerke
and Beadles Houses.

Election for
Electing a Cl.

It is now in a full Court agreed That a Clerke shall be
Elected on the next Court day Vizt: the first Tuesday in
February next The Choice to be by Balloting
All that are under three upon the first ballot to be
rejected the four highest upon the Second Ballot to be
Balloted a third time the highest of Which to be the
Clerk. Tis also agreed That so many of the Candidates
As intend to put up for the place shall print Eighty
Lists of all their Names And deliver four to every One
of the Electors in Order to the Balloting.

N.B

The Court will have no Regard to any candidate
that is not included in the Lists Delivered.
