Continued Tuesday 26th June 1792

Hospitals both
General accts. to be Balanced to every
Christmas and signed by the Committee
of Auditors and an abstract thereof printed
under their direction and laid before the
General Court in April and a copy thereof
said to each Govr. and given to every visitor
at the Stewards Feast in July

every Christmas that the same be examined from time to time and the
Balances signed by the Committee of Auditors that a full and particular
abstract thereof and of the general concerns of both Hospitals be annually
prepared and printed under the direction of the Committee of Auditors and laid
before the general Court in April and that a Copy of the same be sent
annually to each Governor and given to every visitor at the Stewards Feast in
July

Book of Extracts of Wills wherein
the Hospitals are interested to be kept
end the time when the Treasurer receives
any legacy

Book containing Rules with the
Duties of the Officers and Servants
Book containing list of Govrs. and future
Benefactors with the amount of each
Benefaction Books of Schedules Views
Estimates Abstracts and Assignmts of
Leases and such affairs as directed by
any of the Committees

Resolved that there be kept a Book containing regular and sufficient
extracts from all Wills wherein these Hospitals are or may be interested and
also the time when the Treasurer receives any Legacy thereby given a book
containing in proper Order all the Rules and Orders with the duties of the
several Officers and Servants belonging to both Hospitals and also a
Book containing a Correct lift of the Governors and future Benefactors
with the amount of each Benefaction likewise Books of Schedules Views
Estimates Abstracts and Assignments of Leases and such other Books
as may from time to time be found necessary and be directed by any of the
Committees

Books of Cash accounts Legacies
and Benefactions to be laid on the Table
at every Court and Meetings of the House
Committee and Committee of Auditors

Resolved that all Cash Books, Books of accompts and Books of
Legacies and Benefactions be laid on the Table at every Court at all
Meetings of the House Committee and Committee of Auditors.

Clerk toarrange all
Records and without Books and
deposit same in same secure place
and not delivered out of the Hospl. without on
Order in Writing from the President or Treasr.

Resolved that all Records and antient Books and Writings of value
belonging to the Hospitals be collected together and arranged by the Clerk
and deposited in some secure and suitable place and not delivered or
taken out of the Hospital without an Order in writing from the President or
Treasurer.

Houses and Estates belonging to the
Hospital to be advertized in the public papers
and that no Leases be granted above one
year in Reversion and that every Lease
contains a Covenant for paymt. of the Rent at
the Stewards Office Bridewell Hospital

Resolved that there be a constant exertion to improve the Prevencies for
which purpose that all Houses and Estates whatsoever belonging to the
Hospital be let to the highest responsible Bidder after several Advertizements
in the proper public Papers and that no Leases be granted above one year in
reversion or any consideration whatsoever and that every Lease contain
a covenant for payment of the Rents at the Stewards Office in Bridewell
Hospital.

Steward of Bridewell to be the Procr.
subject to the inspection of the Treasr.


Resolved that the Steward of Bridewell be the Receiver subject to the
inspection of the Treasurer of all Rents Arrears and Annuities except those
from the Orphan Stock and any of the public funds and that he pay the
same to the Treasurer as soon as received

Hospitals to insure all their Houses &
Buildings and the some to be added to
the Tenents Rents the Sum proper to be
instead to be as certained by the Clerk and
Surveyor and that the Lease contain a
covenant to rebuild in case of loss to the amount
insured and recovered

Resolved that the Houses and Buildings belonging to the Hospitals as
the same are let be insured at a public Office by the Hospitals and the
Money paid for such insurance received of the Tenant with the Rent the
Sum proper to be insured being first as certained by the Clerk and
