Upon Reading an Order of the Court of Common Council in the words and
figures following Hopkins Mayor A Common Council holden in the Chamber of
the Guildhall of the City of London on Friday the 10th. day of February 1792
The Common Council of the Wards of Aldersgate and Cripplegate within and
without having met agreeable to the several Resolutions of this Court of the
Twentieth day of February 1783 did this day present Mr. George Smith< no role >
of the
ward of Aldersgate
to be one of the Governors
of Bridewell
and Bethlem
Hospitals in the Room of Mr. Deputy

deceased; This Court
doth therefore Nominate and Appoint him Governor of the said Hospital accordingly.
The Common
Council of the Wards of Cornhill Dowgate and Queenhith
having
met agreeable to the above Resolutions did this day present Mr. John Salter< no role >
of the Ward of Dowgate to be one of the Governors of Bridewell
and
Bethlem Hospitals in the room of Mr. Robert Exam< no role >
deceased This Court
doth therefore nominate and appoint him Governor of the said Hospital
