Upon Reading the Humble Petition of George Rayment< no role > Citizen and
Weaver setting forth that he sewed his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to
Edward Owen< no role > by Indenture dated 28th. January 1780 and by Order of Court of
26th. November 1789 was made free of this City the 1st. December 1789 and
is set up for himself in his Trade at No. 7 New Street Shoemaker Row
Black friars and has received part of Mrs. Fowkes Gift and praying part
of Mr. Lock's Gift It is Ordered that John Hart< no role > Esqr . John Cozier Hart< no role >
Esqr . and Robert Sherson< no role > Esqr . or any two of them be desired to enquire
whether the said George Rayment be set up for himself in his said Trade
and of his hopefulness therein and report their opinion thereon to this Court

Burgess John to be inquired after
for Mr. Lock's Gift

Cordwainer setting forth that he served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital
to William Scripps by Indenture dated 29th. December 1781 and by Order
of Court of the 16th. April 1789 was made free of this City the 6th. of May
1789 and is set up for himself in his Trade at No. 24 Shoemake row
Blackfiars has received part of Mr. Fewkes Gift and praying part of
Mr. Lock's Goft It is Ordered that John Hart< no role > Esqr . John Crazier Hart
Esqr. and Robert Sherson< no role > Esqr . or any two of them be desired to Inquire
whether the said John Burgess< no role > be set up for himself in his said Trade

Cordwainer setting forth that he served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to

Court of 27th. November 1788 was made free of this City the 4th. May 1789
and is set up for himself in his said Trade at No. 2 Bakers Court
Holborn Bars and has received part of Mr. Fowkes Gift and praying
