Continued Thursday 28th. April 1785 .

of Bridewell and Bethlem Hospitals It was moved and
seconded that the thanks of this Court be given to Mr. Coutts for this
kind and Charitable Donation which is Unaminously Ordered
and that the Clerk do signify the sense of this Court respecting
such his Benefaction

Right Honble Lord Mayor Treasurer to be Elected a Governor
of these Hospitals It is Ordered that such Election shall be
determined by a Majority of Votes at the next General Court
and that Notice of such intended Election be Inserted in the
Summons's for such Court

The Right Honble the Marguiss of Carmarthen being
Proposed by the Right Honble Lord Mayor Treasurer to be
Elected a Governor of these Hospitals It is Ordered that such
Election shall be Determined by a Majority of Votes at the next
General Court and that Notice of such intended Election be
inserted in the Summons's for such Court

as a Governor


Nathaniel Hillier< no role > of Lavenham in the County of Suffolk
Esqr . only acting Executor of Mrs. Beater Wilkins< no role > deceased who
has given a Benefaction of £200 Four per Cent Annuities to
Bethlem Hospital being proposed by the Right Honble Lord Mayor
Treasurer to be Elected a Governor of these Hospitals It is
Ordered that such Election shall be Determined by a Majority
of Votes at the next General Court and that Notice of such
intended Election be inserted in the Summons's for such Court

and in case any of the Stewards Elected shall decline or Refuse the
same the Clerk is to supply the Number in Course.
