Beadles - Grat - ½ yr. to
Mid sr. 1731}


Upon reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles & Portersman of this
Hospital for their usual Gratuitys of Forty Shillings a peice in respect of the half
year ending at Midsummer last for that their Salarys are but small It is Ordered
that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Forty Shilligs a peice
to be allowd him in his next account

Basketmens - Gra - ½ Yr. to
Mid Sr. 1731}


Upon reading the humble Petition of the three Beadles or Basketmen of the
Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings a peice in respect
of the half year ending at Midsumer last for that their Salarys are but Small
It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a peice to be allowd him in his next Account.

William Billors< no role > Knt. Sr Alderman & one of ye. Justices of ye. Peice of the City of London being charged by
the Oath of Joseph< no role > & Mary Stephens< no role > & other for that she is a loose idle & disorderly Pson having
taken away their Child of about 12 Months old & detaining of the same by the space of Ten day
Jane Tabb< no role > being committed to this Hospital by Warrant of the Right Worshipfull Sir
Richard Brocas< no role > Knt. (Alderman & one of ye Justices of the peace of the said City) being
charged by the Oath of Aaron Wilson< no role > for being a comon Night walker & pisking up Men and
a loose idle disorderly PsonAnd this [..] being informd that the said Kitherine
Towers

That they be sent to St. Thomas's Hospital in Southwark for Care and that one of the Beadles
of this Hospital do wait upon the Treasurer of the said Hospital and requaint him that it is
the desire of this Court that the said Katharine Towers< no role > & Jane Tubb< no role > may be admitted accordingly
and that they may be sent back again hither when they shall be discharged from the said Hospital
of St. Thomas.
