Governor Elected
Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this House dated the third
of December last selling forthThat in pursuance of an Order of Court of the
17th. day of April last This Comittee having considers of Mr.
John Gascoign< no role >
in Tower Street
who was nominated by Mr.
Robert Carey< no role >
to be one of the Governors of these Hospitals St
is the opinion of this Committee That the said Mr.
John Gascoign< no role >
is a very proper person to be
a Governour if the Court shall think fit which neverthess is Submitted to the Judgment of
the Court And it is ordered that this opinion be reported to the next Court All which
nevertheless is Submitted to the Judgment of the Court This Court doth steel
the said Gentleman
to be a Governor of these Hospitals And it is Ordered
that a Staff be sent to him accordingly
