20th. July 1716

Setting forth That her said husband had left her
in very Low circumstances and not Able to Subsist Whereupon
the Governours at a Court holden the 9th day of Augt. 1706 were
pleased to order her a Room in this hospital to dwell in and
also an allowance of three Shillings and Six pence P week
which has been constantly paid her ever Since and amounts to above
Ninety pounds and She is Still hearty and may Love some years
and Are Comee considering the particular Case of the said Eliz:
Bayly
< no role > are of Opinion to give her forty five pounds (to make up
the Twenty five pounds which was paid her by the Order of ye
Court) Seventy pounds according to their former Report towards
the Support of her Self and a Child who is altogether incapable of
getting any Livelyhood dureing his life All which nevertheless or
humbly be Submitted to the Judgmt. of ye Court This Court****
dotto Confirme ye said Report And it is Ordered that the
Cleke do give and pay unto the said Elizabeth Baily< no role > the Sume of
Forty five pounds in the said Report menconed to male ye Twenty
five pounds paid her by Order of ye Last Court up Seventy pounds

Beadler Gratuitys for ˝yr
to Midsumr Last 1716}


Upon reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles & Portersman
of this hospital for then usual Gratuitys [..] of forty Shillings a pence
in respect of the halfe year ending at Midsumr. Last for that then Salaries
are but Small It is Ordered that the Clerke of these hospitals [..]
give & pay unto them forty Shillings a pence to be allowed him in her
next account

Baskettmens Gred for ˝ yr
to Midsumr. 1716}


Upon reading the humble Petition of the Chree Beadles or
Baketmen of the hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of
Twenty Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe year ending at Midsumr.
Last for Char Cheir Salaries are but Small It is Ordered
that the Clerke of these hospitals do give & pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a peice to be allowed Ann in his next account

produced a Writeing whereby ye Demensions of his Ground in Tower Street
is from North to South (which is from Tower Street
to the hospital ground}
