Lowest offer that has been made to the Comittee Therefore the
Comittee Ordered the said Cordwell to proceed to do the Same
And This Comee in pursuance of an Order of Court of the
23d. of June Last haveing agreed with Mr Mayne to accept
Four Hundred pounds to discharge him of His Lease and
Covenants (As appears by their Report confirmed by the Court
the 15th. day of July Last) which Sume he has Since paid
to the Treasurer So that the Governours are to Rebuild that House
And this Comee haveing also caused a model to be
prepared of the Four Houses to be Rebuilt over the said Vaults
in Fowks Court and a Draught of the Scantlings of Timber &
other Particulars which the Comee Judged proper for the building
and Finishing thereof Copys of which particulars were delivered
to Several Workmen who made proposeals theron The
Said Mr. Cordwell proposed to build the said Houses or any one
or more of them From the Flatt and Finish the Same according
to the Said modell and particulars at Fifty Five Pounds P
Square the whole being thirty five square & three quartersSquare
Will amount in all to £1966-5- And this being the Lowest
proposeal that has been offered to the Comee This Comee
are of Opinion to accept of the Said Edward Cordwells
proposeal which nevertheless is Submitted to the Judgment of
the CourtThis Court doth Confirme the Said Report
and Order that ye said Edward Cordwell< no role >
do according to his said
proposeal Rebuild Such of the said Houses as the Comee
Shall direct.

Bricklayer in Bride Lane
does Dayly Lay Timber, Bricks &
Rubbish on the Pavement before the Great Gate of this Hospital
which is a Nusance to the Hospital and their adjacent
Tenants It is Ordered That it be Referred to the
Comee of this House to examine into the matter and give
Such direccons therein as they Shall think proper.
