Upon Reading a Report of the Comee of this house under
the hands of John Tayler< no role > Esqr . Trear sr . Francis Forbes< no role > Auditor

< no role > Esqr . Mr. William Grubb< no role > & Thomas Rawlinson< no role > Esqr . dated
the 15th. day of March instant in the words followingThis
Comee in pursuance of an Order of [..] Court of the 29th day of
July Last have inspected the Books of accounts of Daniel Baker< no role >
Esqr . deced Late Treasurer of these hospitals wherein they find he has
Charged himselfe with ye Ballance of £235 11.11. Remaining
in his hands of the hospitals money whereupon they have
discoursed his son Daniel Baker< no role > Esqr . (Executor of Barbara Baker< no role >
deced Relut &AdmExectr. of ye said Late Trears who after
makeing diverse objections to Several Items in her said Fathers
Books offered to pay £300 for ye principal money and Interest
Since the death of her Mother In Case ye Governours will accept
the same in full discharge of all demands upon his sd fathers Estate
And considering that there has been a suit many years
depending in Chancery for ye setting ye said Late Treasurers
accounts and ye accounts of Jeremy Mount< no role > deced formerly Clerk
of these hospitals who both happened to dye near ye same time
which suit is still undetermined by reason their accounts were
so intermixt and intricate [..] that it was difficult to desting with
the same or to make out a Clear distinct Charge agt. them This
Comee are of Opinion to accept of ye said proposeal which
nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the Court
This Court doth Confirm the said Report & Order
that Mr Trear Tayler do accept of ye said £300 in full
discharge of all accounts and demands of the Governours of
these hospitals agt. ye Estate of ye sd. Mr. Trear Baker
and that upon payment thereof the said Mr. Bakers Books
of account be delivered up to his said Son Daniel Baker< no role > Esqr
if Mr. Mount will Consent
