Upon reading a Report from ye Comee of this house under of
hands of John Taylor< no role > Esqr . Trear Mr. Depty . Robert Stamper< no role >
John Cottle< no role > Esqr . Mr John Shelton< no role > & Mr Saml. Keble< no role > dated ye 19th day
of May last in the words following vizt This Comee in pursuance
of an Order of Court of the 19th day of Novemr. last have taken into considercon
the Petition of William Eagle< no role > Setting Forth that he Served his
apprenticeship in this hospital to James Waldo< no role > hempdresser and has been
made free of this Citty by Order of this Court and is Sett up for himselfe in
his said Trade in Shoreditch agt. the black Dog and praying Some part of
Mr Locks Gift the better to enable him to carry on his Sd. Trade and
this Comee upon inquiry being Satisfyed that he is Set up in his sd
Trade and has ye Character of a Sober industrious man are of Opinion to
give him Ten pounds out of Mr Locks Gift which nevertheless is Submitted
to the Judgement of ye Court This Court doth confirme the Same
and Order that the Clerke do pay unto the Said William Eagle< no role > Ten
pounds out of Mr Locks gift to be allowed him in his next account

Edward Gilbert< no role > (Apprentice to John Machin< no role > one of the
artsmar s. of this Hospital) being Sett to the Hempblocks by Mr. Presidts.
Order was brought up to Court and his Master being present complaint
that he was bound to him but the Sixth day of April last and run
away about a week after Easter and was brought agen abot. three
weekes afterwards He acknowledged his fault begged pardon and
promised to behave himself well for ye future Whereupon he
was reprimanded by Mr. president and Ordered to returne to his
said Mar.

artsmar s. of this hospital) being Set to the Hemblock's by Mr presidents Ordr.)
was brought up to Court and his Mar. being present complained
that he had run away and Staid about three week's his make
being also present complained that he Suspected him to have
pilfred Several things from him in the time he was absent from
his said Master And the said Apprentice having little to Stay
for himselfe It is Ordered that he be continued at the
hempblocks till further Order
