This Court being cheifely called for the Election
of an Apothecary to these hospitals in the room of
in John Adams< no role > deceased The humble Petitions
of the Severall Candidates following Vizt Charles
Adamson< no role > , Richard Beckington< no role > , William Elderton< no role >
Thomas Higgs< no role > , John Markham< no role > , Job Mathew< no role > , Thomas
Northey< no role > , Robert Pead< no role > and William Prowting< no role > were
read alphabetically and they were Severally put in
nomination in the same Order and the plurality of hands
appearing to be for the said Charles Adamson, William
Elderton< no role > , John Markham< no role > Job Mathew and Thomas
Northey< no role > they were agen put up and then the plurality of
hands being for the said William Elderton< no role > and John
Markham< no role > they two were put up agen And a great
Majority of hands then appearing for the said William Elderton< no role >
This Court thereupon declared the said William
Elderton< no role > elected and doth Order that he be Apothecary
to these hospitals from Lady day next untill the
next Election day
