Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this house
dated the 29 th day of this instant July in the words following
Vizt In Pursuance of an Order made at the Last Court
This Comee have inspetted the list of the Governors. of these
hospital and do find that the Several Gentleman here under named
have refused to be Stewards in their. Turns at the Election
day al tho' they have been Several times applyed to for that purpose
by the Steward of this hospital according to antient Custome
have been Governors. of these hospitals for many years past

And this Comee are of Opinion that for the future the Said Gentlemen
Should not be Sumoned to any Court to be holden for these hosplls
And that their names be Struck out of the List All which is
never thelesse Submitted to the Judgment of the CourtThis
Court having duely weighed and considered the Said Report
doth confirme the Same And Ordered that the Clerke do
accordingly Strike the Said names out of the List.

Upon reading the Several humble Petitions of Jane Hill< no role >
Grace Hill< no role > - Mary Lewis< no role > - Elizabeth Mitton< no role > - Mary Say< no role > -
Ann Smyth< no role > - Mary Timms< no role > Ann Winnat< no role > and Catherine Wyndler< no role >
for one of them to be admitted Matron of their hospital in
the room of Elizabeth Mitton deced And they being all
Severally put up in Commination in Alphabetiral manner as their
Petitions were read they were reduced to two as those who
Rad the Majority of hands Vizt Elizabeth Mitton and Catherine
Windham
< no role > And they two being again put up in nomination for one
of them to be Matron It appeared plainly by a very great
Majority of hands that the said Catherine Windham< no role > is there unto
duely elected And thereupon It is Order'd by this Court
that the said Catherine Windham< no role > be admitted Makon of the said
hospitals untill the next Election day But upon motion made to
this Court It is Order'd that Elizabeth Mitton ye Petr. Daughter of
the late Matron may receive yd Salary & quisits of the Sd office untill [..]
day next and that She do then quit this hospital & deliver up posscon of the
Matron's Appartmt to the sd Catherine Wyndham< no role >
