Mr. Treasure Tayler acquainted this Court that there is a great
defect in the Bruckworke of the South front of Bethlem hospital wth.
if not Spcedily amended may be of very ill consequence It is
Order'd that it be referred to the Comees of both hospitals or any
Seven of them where of the Trear to be one to view the sd. hospital
of Bethlem with Such workmen or they Shall think proper and to
report to their Court the State and Condition of the said hospital and
what repaires or amendments are wanting.

Ordered that the Said Comee be also desired to view the -
house in Fowks Court in Tower Street belonging to the hospital -
of Bethlem and late in the Posscon of Mr. Nicholas Hanbury< no role > as tenant
at Will but now empty and out of repair and to give Such direccons therein
as they Shall think proper.

Smyth Mr. Braham
added to Bridewell Comee}


Ordered that Mr. Braham Smyth< no role > be added to the Comee for
Bridewell hospital till next Election day in the room of Mr.
Treasurer Tayler.

Warren Mr.Francis
added to Bethlem Comee}


Order'd that Mr. Feautor John Francis Warren< no role > be added to the Comee for
Bethlem hospital till next Election day in the room of Mr. Trear
Tayler.

for a new Lease in Wapping

Upon reading the humble Petition of Margaret Bates< no role >
widdow Rehit and Admr [..] of William Bates< no role > deced Setting forth
that the holds Some ground and Several Tenements in Wapping
under a Lease granted by the Governor s. of the hospital of
Bridewell to her Said late husband dated the 26th of April
1667. for 51 year from Lady day 1664 which will expire at
Lady day next at the Rent of £20 P Auned And praying a new
Lease of the Same premisses to her son William Bates< no role > It is Ordered that the Said
Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Comee of this
house who are desired to Report to their Court what they think
proper to be done therein.
