at this Hospital being vacant by ye Resingation of Dr. Atterbury

. This Comee directed the Order of Court made
upon the Eleccon of the Three last preacher to be laid before them and the same were
read vizt an Order made at a Court holden the 30th of Octr. 1674
upon the Election of Mr.Moor another on the 12th Janry
1676 on the Election of Mr. Masters and the other the 4th of Octor.
1693 on the Elecion of the Dean then Mr. Atterbury upon which their
Comee observe that the present allowances made to the preacher of
this Hospital are much larger than they formerly were when the
Service required was not less than it is now, and particularly this
Comee find an Annual paymt. of Twenty pounds which was at
first given in consideracon of attending and instructing such patients
at Bethlem as were capable of receiving in struccon but this Comee
not finding there is any Occasion for such attendence are therefore
of Opinion that the said allowance will be altogether unnecessary for
